However, if you choose to disable the Cookies on your browser, you might not be able to benefit from all the functionalities offered by our Sites, especially all functions, which are connected with a Login, need Cookies for a correct function mode. For more information on how to customize your Cookies options in your browser settings, please consult the following links:

You can also set an opt-out Cookie by clicking here . An opt-out Cookie prevents future collection. However, it only applies to the browser in question. To prevent data entry across different devices, you must therefore perform the opt-out on all devices and browsers used. 7)     Social media Plug-ins

Our Sites use social media plug-ins, from Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and a number of other providers. As a result, buttons of the respective providers are displayed, or content of the respective provider is integrated on the Sites.

When you visit a website via such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of that provider. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective provider and integrated into the respective website. As a result, the respective provider receives in particular the information that your browser has visited the website in question and the IP address of the device used, even if you do not have an account with the provider. If you are logged in at the provider's website at the same time, the provider can assign the visit to your personal profile. If you interact with a plug-in - for example by pressing the "Like" button or making a comment - the corresponding information is transferred directly from your browser to the provider concerned and stored there. The interaction may also be published on the profile you hold with the provider and be visible to your contacts.

We use plug-ins to make our Sites more attractive and to make it easier and more comfortable for you to share content of our Sites. This also helps us to reach a wider audience for our Sites. Information about the processing of the data by the provider can be found in the provider’s privacy notice.

If you do not want the respective providers to collect information about you via our Sites, you must log out from the provider's website before visiting our Sites. Yet, even when you are logged out, providers use social plug-ins to place Cookies and to collect anonymous data which can be assigned to your profile, provided you log in to the respective provider's website at a later time.  If such cases the respective provider processes your personal data as controller and in accordance with their own data protection regulations. If you want to prevent the provider from assigning data to your profile, you must delete the corresponding Cookies. You can also completely prevent the loading of plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. using "No Script" or "No-Script Suite".

8)     Analytics and tracking tools

Our Sites use analytics and tracking tools to better understand the use of our Sites and to improve its content, functionality and irretrievability. For example, we can see from which pages most visitors come to us, which pages are visited most and from which pages most visitors leave us. We may also evaluate this personal data and combine it with other personal data, such as non-personal statistical information and other personal data we have collected about you, in order to derive information about your preferences and affinities with certain products or services.

8.1  Adobe Analytics

On our Sites, we use Adobe Analytics, an analysis service of Adobe. Adobe Analytics uses Cookies that enable an analysis of the website use. Thereby, information about your behavior on our Sites (IP-address, type of the browser, name or your provider, date a time of access to our website, pages visited and length of stay) and the device used (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc.) are stored. This information is stored on an Adobe server in the European Union. Adobe Analytics also makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across several end devices to a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze the activities of an unknown user across devices. For more information, please see Adobe’s Terms of Use, that can be found here: https://www.adobe.com/legal/terms.html and Adobe’s Privacy Notice that can be found here: https://www.adobe.com/privacy/policy.html.
