Mike Häfeli began his career at Bühler with an apprenticeship as a technical drafter in 1997. He then studied mechatronics, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics from the University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen in 2002. In 2009, he completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Customer Relationship Management at Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Over more than 30 years, Häfeli has held various management positions at Bühler in project execution, automation, sales, and mechanical engineering. Between 2009 and 2013, he was Vice President Automation in North America, and in 2013 he became Sales Director for the Grain Logistics business unit. He later led the business area Grain Quality & Supply from 2015 to 2023, before joining the Eisberg Group as CEO and Member of the Executive Board of the Bell Food Group.
In 2026, Mike Häfeli was appointed CEO of Grains & Food and Member of the Executive Board of Bühler.
